What Exactly is a Network?
A network is a complex system made up of different hardware and software components from various sources. It includes the client computers, servers, peripherals such as printers and messaging devices, and any software applications that run on these machines. A well-designed network binds all these components into an integrated whole that connects business processes and helps organizations manage and share information. Additionally, a proper network creates a
dependable and seamless infrastructure that is aligned with organizational activities to the extent that it is nearly invisible to its end users.

Benefits of Networks
Networks are a vital part of conducting business. They are the foundation upon which all business applications are carried out. Not coincidentally, networks continue to play an increasingly integral part in allowing small businesses to grow and compete in today's global marketplace. Networks allow companies to:

         - Streamline processes and stimulate innovation through
         collaboration.
         - Help employees perform tasks faster and more efficiently.
         - Enhance communications by making sure information gets to the
right people at the right time.
         - Break down business boundaries, extending beyond departments,
divisions, or even the organization itself.

Indeed, networks are not just about efficiency, but are a means to create and sustain competitive advantage. With the rise of the Information Age, there are no limits. The world of business is in constant motion, and is no longer confined by time and space. Small companies must have technical leverage so that they compete on an anytime, anywhere basis, and focus on their core competencies. Bind provides that leverage.
